A trail of half-marathon distance. Dreamlike scenery, fabulous trails - technically demanding. The start takes place at about 2000 meters above sea level in Obergurgl. There is not much time to warm up as the participants head towards the highest point of the race right at start, conquering 8 km and 700 altitude meters. Ramolhaus above 3000 m altitude is an intermediate time measuring spot. Then the runners have to conquer a technically demanding downhill to Piccard Bridge where breathtaking panorama views of Ötztal's glacier world await them. They continue along Schwärzenkamm towards Langtalereckhütte before they take the forest road to Schönwieshütte on the last 12 km of the race. After the next refreshment station, they will reach beautiful Rotmoostal side valley, continuing uphill towards Hohe Mut Alm. Once arrived at 2670 m altitude, it's time to enjoy the panorama before a steep downhill stretch leads to the Gaisbergtal fork-off towards Obergurgl. On the last 2 km the participants enjoy the cheering crowds of spectators until they reach the finish area.
