I am packing my suitcase...

...or rather my backpack? Or how about a travel bag? Not only the luggage content is important on a hiking holiday, but also the piece of luggage itself. For multi-day hiking tours or long-distance hiking trails, a large backpack is usually the best choice to stow away all important things. Suitcases or travel bags are the better choice for leisurely hiking holidays where sport and relaxation are equally on the agenda. A small hiking backpack will also fit comfortably in these two pieces of luggage. The choice of luggage also depends on the type of journey. A robust hard-shell suitcase is recommended for air travel while travel bags or fabric suitcases are also perfect for those arriving by car or train.
