Several bus stops make it easy to reach Ötztal’s main attractions and highlights. Scenic Timmelsjoch Pass or Rettenbach Glacier make a superb base for hiking tours. What‘s best, using the public bus lines the two toll roads are free of charge.

As a Summer Card holder, you can use the hut taxis at a reduced rate (on the normal price)! Please note: Bikes are not transported! The taxis run once a week in the individual villages. Pre-registration for hut taxis: Please note the registration deadline for the respective date.

The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road is, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and valleys, probably the most beautiful connection to the neighboring country Italy. In addition to the scenic drive, there is also a lot of interesting information to take away along the way. Six stations provide information on the region's nature, history, culture, society and economy.

The glacier panorama road leads from the hustle and bustle of the village of Sölden up to the foot of the mighty glaciers in scenic bends. Due to the breathtaking panorama, the road was chosen as the location of the spectacular car chase in the action thriller James Bond SPECTRE.
