Brief and to the point: The routes of the REPUBLIC

Shaped lines & long lines

So-called shaped lines, as the name already suggests, are mountain bike routes that have been shaped and built by machine or by men. The lines are characterized by steep curves, waves and jumps and are only used downhill. Incidentally, the shaped lines of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN are created in an ecologically sustainable manner. In Sölden we have combined linked shaped lines to form truly "long lines": on the longest of these routes, mountain bikers can conquer over 1300 meters of altitude difference on a whopping 16 kilometers!

Natural trails

In contrast to the shaped lines described above, natural trails (often also called single trails) are natural footpaths or trails that are approved for mountain biking. These natural trails usually have a maximum width of one meter and are peppered with natural obstacles such as tree roots, pebble and stones. Currently the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN includes 17 different natural trails with a total length of approx. 34 kilometers, winding through alpine landscapes and deep green forests.

Enduro routes

Enduro routes combine cycling and biking uphill and downhill. Therefore, you ride up on classic mountain bike routes, for instance wide forest roads or meadow paths, and collect not only many impressions but also altitude meters. Depending on the enduro route, you bike down on the shaped lines or natural trails described above. There are currently 13 routes of this type in the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, which can of course also be conquered with an e-mountain bike.
