The Ramolhaus is located at 3.005 m, high above Obergurgl and was built in 1881 by mountain guide Martinus Scheiber. The completely refurbished hut offers a fantastic view to the Gurgler glacier, who is just within one's reach from there. ATTENTION: The hiking path to the Ramolhaus is partialy covered in snow. IMPORTANT for an overnight stay in a mountain hut in summer: Without a reservation, no sleeping place can be allocated. Overnight stays are only possible with your own warm sleeping bag, because no additional blankets or beds can be provided in the huts.
