The interactive exhibition in two languages (German/English) centers on life in and on the glacier, the imminent climate change and decades of high Alpine research in Ötztal. Selected exhibits on the high Alpine flora and fauna and the colorful variety of Obergurgl's stones are presented and explained on a surface of about 135 m². You can even get in close touch with real glacier ice.
10 stations provide insights into the most amazing research results. Its centerpiece is a huge multimedia touch table which communicates further information and scientific details about Obergurgl in a playful way. Among the other highlights ranks a 3500 year old ibex horn which was found in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition in 2011, it confirms the earlier presence of ibexes in this high Alpine area.
