At the end of the valley, a new horizon for research, conferences and sports. The University Center Obergurgl is located at 1,940 m, five minutes from the town center, directly on the ski slope. The listed buildings have been carefully renovated, equipped with the latest technology and now accommodate conference rooms, the Alpine research center, laboratories, sports medicine, cozy lounges, a restaurant and 40 guest rooms. On the doorstep: one of the most beautiful biosphere parks in Europe and the Ötztal glacier world.
The children's playground is situated at the entrance of the Arolla Pine Forest, directly next to the Zirben Alm. The children await a chute, a swing and climbing elements.
