This family loop tour with trailhead in Niederthai leads past the waterfall.
Also young mountain bike fans have plenty of fun on this 7 kilometer long asphalt route featuring only 185 meters of altitude gain. After a loop across the valley basin of Niederthai you start already heading towards the waterfall. Soon you can listen to the rushing mountain waters coming down from the glacier fields of Zwieselbachferner and Grastalferner. Scenic Horlachbach brook has a total falling height of 150 meters.
A truly unique nature spectacle can be experienced every Wednesday night when the waterfall is floodlit! At the end of the tour you bike to the hamlet of Bichl (refreshment stop) before you return to Niederthai.
