Start your walk at the Brückenwirt Inn in Zwieselstein and follow the wide, flat path across the fields toward the local sports ground. After crossing a small bridge, the trail continues on the right side of the river (Ache). It gently climbs in places and descends slightly before reaching the small hamlet of Bodenegg.

This easy and scenic hike is perfect for families – well-maintained, varied, and without significant elevation gain.

Located at the end of the Ötztal valley at 1,470 meters, the charming village of Zwieselstein is known for its traditional wooden houses, old Tyrolean architecture, and a unique local character shaped by regional artists.

Zwieselstein is not only a place to pause and relax, but also an ideal starting point for many other tours in the Ötztal.
