Europe's highest motorcycle museum - Top Mountain Motorcycle Experience - can be found directly on the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road at over 2,000 meters. Where switchbacks, panoramic vistas and mountain passes meet design and passion, visitors can experience the fascination of two-wheeled vehicles in a spectacular interactive setting. More than 500 historic motorbikes and legendary rarities tell the story of motorsports.
Special tip: the ride over Timmelsjoch is already part of the experience - 30 hairpin bends, boundless freedom and the true feeling of motorbike riding included.
Experience stations & highlights
In addition to countless interesting exhibits, the Top Mountain Motorcycle Experience has other highlights to help you live the motorcycling experience.
The 4D cinema lets the “wind” blow through your hair, even without a motorcycle license. Various simulations on KTM motorcycles including wind effects recreate a ride on a mountain pass.
At the “Sound of Motorbikes” station you will feel like a racing driver on the finish line. The latest technology simulates sound and vibration on top-class MotorGP bikes.
On the Motor Wall, videos from the Timmelsjoch and the surrounding region are shown on an huge LED screen.
At the media table you will find out what is happening under the hood. Mechanisms and engine functions are presented virtually and acoustically.
The specially created media production shows special vehicles from all over the world, which are presented on free-hanging displays throughout the room.
