General
The Gurgl ski resort opens on Thursday, 20th November 2025, and remains open until Sunday, 19th April 2026.
The ski resort has a total of 25 lifts.
The lifts in Gurgl are open daily from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm.
Our ticket offices are open daily from 08:30 am to 04:00 pm.
The Gurgl ski resort has a total of 112 kilometers of slopes up to over 3000 meters above sea level.
Yes, a 3km long natural toboggan run with 25 curves from the Hochgurglbahn I mountain station to the valley station.
Yes, provided they are equipped with a braking mechanism and fall protection.
No it has been subject to a fee for everyone since 2023. Only the first 30 minutes are free of charge. Further informations can be found here.

Ski pass purchase & Refund
With a 3-day ski pass or longer, you automatically receive the Ötztal Superskipass, which is valid in the ski areas of Sölden, Vent, Gries, Hochötz - Kühtai, Niederthai & Gurgl.
The season pass can be purchased directly at all lift ticket offices in Gurgl. A photo for the season pass will be taken on site. The price of the season pass is fixed and does not vary dynamically.
Yes we offer a beginner's pass. It is valid for the Wiesenlift (in OG), the Mahdstuhllift (in OG) and the Krumpwasserlift (in HG) and costs € 33,- per adult/per child.
Unfortunately there is no replacement for lost ski passes. In this case, you will have to purchase a new ski pass.
It is not possible to extend your skipass retrospectively. You would have to purchase an additional ski pass for the remaining days.
In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund. We therefore recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance before starting your trip.
Ski passes are only personlized upon first use on site. From this point on, they are strictly personal and may not be transferred to other persons. To ensure that the ski pass is only used by the authorized user, the Photo Compare System is used throughout the ski area. Photos are taken when passing through the turnstiles and checked by our staff.
We offer discounted tickets for children, young people, seniors and persons with a disability rating of at least 60%.
No there is not. Alternatively you can either buy six times a 1-day ski pass or three times a 2-day ski pass.
In our ski resort, we refer to the youngest children (born between 2018 - 2021) as snow kids. They only pay € 2,- per day of skiing.

With cancellation insurance, the order can be canceled up to 5 days before the first day of validity. For cancellation please send us an email to orders@liftgesellschaft.at.

Groups of 20 people or more are eligible for a group rate. Further Informations about group prices can be found here.
The piste rescue card can be purchased online in the webshop or directly at the lift ticket offices. It costs € 4,- per ski pass per day.
Costs incurred for rescue transport by the Red Cross and/or helicopter are NOT included and will be charged separately by the resprective agencies.
Costs for rescue and care by the slope rescue: € 250,-
Costs for transport without medical care: € 50,- (not included in the ski patrol card)
Yes, since November 25 senior tickets can be purchased online in our webshop.
Yes, depending on the purchase date, season period, and demand, prices gradually increase.
No, the price also increases in the shopping cart when there is a price jump.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer the ticket to another period due to the dynamic pricing system and the QR code generated in the background.

Yes, simply enter the desired amount.
The vouchers can be purchased online at voucher.gurgl.com.
Yes, at all restaurants operated by the lift companys (Hohe Mut Alm, Festkogl Alm, Downhill Grill, Kirchenkarhütte, Crosspoint, Wurmkogelhütte, Top Mountain Star).
