With the alpine pastures and huts in Gurgl you will find a place to breathe deeply after your hike tour. Here you can enjoy the excellent mountain gastronomy and take in the diverse landscape of the Ötztal. Panoramas that leave a great taste in the mouth.
RESTRICTIONS on hohe mut gondola lift
Starting now, the Hohe Mut I and II cable cars are operating as usual again on Saturdays and Sundays.
From Monday to Friday, only Hohe Mut II will be in operation due to construction work.
You can reach the middle station via the marked hiking trail or by shuttle bus from Obergurgl.
Tradition meets mountain air
The view from the Hohe Mut Alm is just as impressive as its cuisine is authentic. Relax and enjoy culinary specialties in the sunshine + views of 21 ‘three-thousander’ peaks. Live concerts also take place regularly - 2,670 meters above sea level.
A meeting point for connoisseurs
The Top Mountain Crosspoint is located directly on the Timmelsjochstraße in Hochgurgl. You should stop here if you like a mix of Austrian and Italian specialties and appreciate good coffee or wine. In the same building you will also find the Top Mountain Motorcycle Experience.
High, higher, above the clouds
The Ramolhaus is located at 3,005 meters above sea level and offers you a spectacular view of the valley as well as of the stunning Gurgler Ferner Glacier. In summertime you can also spend the night here.
