The most popular stops are graciously located just a few bends behind the outskirts or enthroned at a challenging height above the valley floor. Some host hikers and excursionists close to the mountain lift stations, such as the cozy Hohe Mut Alm or the quaint Kirchenkarhütte mountain hut. Others welcome mountain climbers only after a strenuous hike, for example majestic Ramolhaus at 3005 m altitude. What all stop-off points and destinations have in common are genuine hospitality, fresh cuisine and uninterrupted panoramic views.
The Langtalereck Hut is located at the entrance of the Langtal valley, offering superb views of Gurgl's glaciers.
