The small loop starts directly at the Infang district.
Arrival
Public transit
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly continue your journey with public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination. Getting there
The car journey into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car leads holidaymakers through the Inn Valley to the entrance of the valley and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. The following parking options are available in Gurgl:
Dorfzentrum Obergurgl parking garage (down to the right in front of the church), paid
Entrance of town parking garage – base station Festkoglbahn, paid
Hochgurglbahn base station parking lot, free of charge – no overnight parking
Top Mountain Crosspoint parking lot, free of charge
Hochgurgl parking lot, free of charge (very small parking lot)
Equipment
Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing is required for all hikes and tours.
